If you haven’t already, join our mailing list by contacting probationarytheatre@gmail.com – we will advise you of upcoming auditions via our monthly newsletter and provide more information on the plays, rehearsal schedules, characters etc. All auditions are held at the White Box Theatre in Seoul, South Korea. We welcome anyone regardless of experience or race to audition, but all auditions are conducted in English. Probationary Theatre practices color blind casting.

The Details:

The irreverent and hyper-violent atmosphere of movies like Natural Born Killers, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction comes back to confront its maker in this confronting and hillarious comedy.

It's Oscar night, and the victorious Bruce Delamitri is on top of the world... for a while. The arrival of the Mall Murderers - two deranged killers on the run leaving a trail of movie inspired shootings behind them - draw him into a whirling storm of confrontation and compromise surrounded by his agent, estranged wife and daughter and the national media.

The auditions will be for one day only - Saturday, May 25th - 10am to 2pm

The Characters:

• Bruce Delamitri – 30's - 40's an arrogant filmmaker who has become controversial for the celluloid violence he produces. Inspired by Quentin Tarrantino.
• Wayne – 20's A brutal and sadistic killer. Young and headstrong. From the South.
• Scout – 20's Wayne's lover and accomplice. Young and impressionable. From the South.
• Brooke Daniels – 20's A vaguely deranged model and aspiring actress.
• Velvet Delamitri – Bruce's estranged daughter. A self obsessed teenage Hollywood brat.
• Farrah Delamitri – 30's - 40's Bruce's estranged wife. A Hollywood survivor.
• Karl Brezner – 40's Bruce's producer. Arrogant man deep in the "business" side of Hollywood.
• Kirstin – Television crew member
• Bill – Television crew member
